Blake Lively. Karlie Kloss. Lea Michele. What do they all have in common? They’ve all had their hair done by celebrity hair stylist Matt Fugate. Matt has worked on an impressive number of stars as well as worked for designers during Fashion Week and editorials for magazines including Allure. But one of his favorite clients is his wife, Laura Gammel. And recently Laura became the ultimate #hairgoals when it was revealed that she made a New Year’s resolution with Matt to do her hair every single day of 2017. The reason? So the two of them could spend more quality time together each morning. So cute! And yesterday, he posted a photo in tribute to Laura for Valentine’s Day. And quite naturally, it was a photo of him doing her hair.
While we’re super jealous of Gammel’s husband/live-in stylist, we’re loving the beautiful bond they’re creating in the name of hair. Sure it’s cute that Matt Fugate styles his wife’s hair, but we’re sure the challenge allows him to be creative and try out new hairstyles.

At the beginning of the year, Laura posted a photo of two beautiful braids to the back with this caption: “Our 2017 Challenge: to rise earlier, to spend more quality time together, and to get my hair done every day of 2017 by @Mattshair #365dayhairchallenge #mattyourhair #coupleswhobraidtogetherstaytogether”
More recently she gave us winter #hairgoals when she posted a hairstyle by her hubby topped with a beanie.
Oh what we’d do to have a celebrity hair stylist like him as a significant other? We’ll even take a glam squad at our beck and call…hey, a girl can dream, right? In the meantime, we’ll continue to gush over the fact that Matt Fugate styles his wife’s hair, and stalk their Instagram for the rest of the year for more hair inspo.
